Remote control utilities are excellent tools to help someone with computer problems, over a distance, but you still have to install one of the application's modules on your friend's computer, which may take a while. Besides making this task as easy as possible, Mingle View allows multiple users to chat in a conference, over the Internet or a local network. Every aspect of the application is very easy to understand and its functions can not be simpler and more straightforward. You may expect a software like this to be expensive, but Mingle View is actually free.

Most remote control applications come with two setup files: one for a client module and another one for the server. If you want to use Mingle View, you have to download a single file, which is 1.11 Mb large, but that is not the most interesting part. The best part is that Mingle View does not need to be installed. You only need to download and run the .exe file.

The application's interface is blank when you launch it and it will not display too many options, even when you are using its full potential. To begin, you need to start or join a meeting by selecting one of these options in the Meeting menu. You will never have to make any network related configurations. When creating a meeting, you only need to type in your name. In a few minutes, you will find four basic windows within the software's interface.

While you are in a meeting, you can see the other participants, exchange messages and files with them and share your desktop. It is possible to communicate with microphones and use webcams as well. If your friends or coworkers want to join your meeting, you will have to send them a short code, which is displayed on the interface. To join a meeting, a person needs to type his name and the received code.

If one of the users can not handle a problem on his computer, he may share his desktop and his friends will be able to take control and help him. When someone shares his desktop, by clicking a single button on the interface, the participants will see it immediately, in real time, on one of the window. Clicking an option, on the same window, will give you full control over your friend's computer. You will be able to work, on the remote desktop window, as if you are sitting in front of your friend's computer.

Pros

Mingle View makes it possible to start or attend meetings, over a network or the Internet. It lets you chat with your friends, exchange files and take control over someone's computer. You do not have to install the application. You can run it immediately, right after downloading a 1.11 Mb file. Furthermore, you may connect to a meeting instantly. There are absolutely no settings to make regarding your network, Internet connection or anything else.

Cons

Connecting to a meeting could take a bit longer than expected and you may not succeed during the first attempt. With Mingle View, you will be able to connect to your friends, chat, offer assistance and more. It is designed to be very easy to understand, so even first time users can master its functions right away.
